2024-2025 Letter to Parents & Calendar
Our Communion and Confirmation programs are TWO-YEAR programs.
Your child(ren) must meet the minimum age requirements listed below before April 1st.  
Please prepare and plan accordingly. ​
  • Communion: The earliest a child can receive Communion is age 8 by April 30th and have been baptized.
    • Enroll in Communion 1 if your child will be 7 years old by April 30th.
    • Enroll in Communion 2 if your child will be 8 years old by April 30th.
    Confirmation: The earliest a child can receive Confirmation is age 14 by April 30th  and have already received First Holy Communion.
    • Enroll in Confirmation 1 if your child will be 13 years old by April 30th.
    • Enroll in Confirmation 2 if your child will be 14 years old by April 30th.

Of course, if your child is older and needs one of these sacraments, we will still be able to accommodate them.

  • Must attend weekly Sunday classes.
  • Must attend weekly Sunday Mass and Holy Days of Obligation.
  • Must have basic Catholic prayers memorized.
  • ​​Must participate in at least 20 hours of Community Service.
  • Must attend 1st Reconciliation (confession).
  • This is a 2-year program.

  • Must be baptized.
  • Must have received their First Holy Communion.
  • Must be 14 years old (8th grade) or older.
  • Must attend weekly Sunday classes.
  • Must attend weekly Sunday Mass and Holy Days of Obligation.
  • Must have basic Catholic prayer memorized.
  • Must participate in at least 20 hours of Community Service.
  • Must choose a Saint name and write a report about their chosen Saint.
  • Must choose appropriate Sponsor. 
  • This a 2-year program.
The Religious Education Program is designed to help form our youth in prayer, virtue and the life of the Church.  It is our hope that these ideals will enhance each child’s experience in the program, maximize their learning, and, above all else, allow for true encounters with Christ’s love.  That is why we offer classes for children ages 5-17 years old.  By enrolling your child every year, you are providing them a strong understanding of their religion.  There is more to know, understand, and believe in the Catholic faith, than just Communion and Confirmation.
