mass attenance sheets – How do they work?

Our mass attendance sheets are designed to keep all involved safe and engaged.  These sheets are require no contact and are COVID-19 safe.  

Each week your child will be given a 1/4 sheet of paper to fill out with information about the mass they attended. These sheets have many different purposes: 
  1. They allow your child to focus on the teachings presented in Mass.
  2. They allow your child to attend Mass at Saint Ann's or whichever parish is the most convenient.  Our desire is to have them attend Mass, it doesn’t matter which Catholic church they go to.
  3. They allow the child to see how the teachings relate to their own life.
  4. They do not require a stamp or signature from the Priest.
  5. They connect the color of the priests robes to the liturgical year.  It starts them wondering why they are wearing different colors.

Your child will fill out the form with details about the mass they attended and then bring the sheet back to class the following week to their teacher who will review.  The teacher can answer any questions the child has not been able to get answered by their parents/guardians.
